  1. I enjoy collecting sports cards and memorabilia. I go to card shows at least once a month and travel quite a bit for shows. I have a store on ebay in which I buy and sell cards as a sort of business.

  2. I'm a very outgoing person but I'm shy at first. I easily break out of my shell but I just need to be around the right people. I love to meet new people and find a lot of interest in hearing about everyone's stories of where they came from and what makes them who they are. I'm a great listener and I'm always up for giving advice.

    1. Do you find it easier to be outgoing when you are around outgoing people, or when you are around shy people?

  6. Two years ago when my family and I went to Hawaii for my parents 25th wedding anniversary. My favorite part was when I was able to swim with the Dolphins. I have been wanting to do that for a long time and finally got the change to swim with the Dolphins. Taylor

    1. Your parents have been married for the exact same time as me. We went to the Bahamas once and had the chance to swim with dolphins, but we didn't end up doing it. I'm not such a great swimmer.

  8. I'm very good at understanding technology and have great technological skills. Whenever my family has computer problems, I jump right in to help them diagnose and fix the problem. I also have writing skills that almost rival my technical skills and I've dreamed of becoming a science-fiction author. I've also thought about combining my two skill sets to become a Technical Writer. Whatever career path I choose, I'd have a promising future but I'm often conflicted about which path I want to take. -Eric

    1. Its always hard to decide which of our passions we should follow when it comes to a career. For a long time I thought about a career in medicine. In enjoyed science and would have found great joy in helping people with health issues. But I also enjoy the challenge of helping people with spiritual issues and have never regretted my decision to be a pastor.

  12. I am a father of two awesome boys. My oldest will be 8 in Oct and my youngest turned 2 this past Jul. I enjoy being a father with all my heart. When my oldest was younger he couldn't pronounce "Papi", which is what I call my dad. To instead of grandpa, my son called him "Happy". I also let my oldest pick the name of his grandmother (my mom) and he chose "Buster". So Happy and Buster are what my sons call my parents.

Kids are such a blessing. I have three and they are all so different from each other.

  13. I am from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I came to Concordia because I was awarded an art scholarship but am interested in the business program. Since high school I have had severe back problems and college has been extremely difficult for me physically. I feel behind in school because I missed my first semester of college right from the start and have been struggling this past year as well. I had one surgery in Nov. 2011 and may need another soon to come. However, I have been trying everything to prevent surgery but am on the last option. I wish to become physically well enough to get some sort of a normal life back where I would enjoy exercising, work, excelling in school, art, music, and many other activities.

  14. Out of all the things I like to do, I am a fan of reading manga. It may sound like a geeky and dorky thing but I love reading them. For some strange reason I always find room to squeeze in time for them.

  18. I am from Chicago, IL. My major at Concordia is Pre-Pharmacy focusing on chemistry. This is not my first year in college, I went to Malcolm X College in Chicago. I went to a city college because it was cheaper. I am a big fan of the bears, blackhawks, and Bulls. While I am in Wisconsin, I am going to have to stay low because Packer fans are deep. -Jessica Johnson
